On May 21, 2025, the 5th partner meeting of the Erasmus+ project Joint Mentorship: Better Cooperation for Better VET was held in Zagreb, organized by the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts.
This was the final partner meeting of the project, during which partners presented the project results achieved in their respective countries, agreed on the technical details for preparing the final report and the quality assurance report, and discussed the sustainability of the project’s outcomes.
The goal of the Erasmus+ project Joint Mentorship was to improve the quality of vocational education and training (VET), specifically by enhancing cooperation among VET stakeholders. This was achieved through the organization of seminars, training sessions, and workshops, as well as the development of Guidelines for better cooperation in VET, including examples of good practices.
In addition, the project developed an e-platform and an e-apprenticeship map, which allow for easier and faster tracking of students and more efficient communication between schools, employers, and other stakeholders such as chambers of trades and crafts.
The project also worked on improving the pedagogical skills of mentors through specially designed e-learning modules that prepare them to teach students during their apprenticeships.
The target groups of the project were students, vocational schools, and mentors who provide training in crafts and companies, as well as other stakeholders in the VET system.
The project started in October 2022 and will run until the end of June 2025, with a total grant of €250,000 awarded to all project partners.
