GO! Athenaeum Geraardsbergen is a medium-sized school (900 students) in Geraardsbergen , a town located in the south of East Flanders, close to the language border. 140 teachers work in the school. The campus accepts students from the second level of ASO (Latin language, science, economics, humanities and from the third level onwards), these majors are further divided. Our school offers both BSO and TSO courses in sectors such as trade, administration, accounting informatics, socio-technical sciences, technical sciences, electromechanics, industrial ICT, woodworking, basic mechanics, electrical installations, security, nutrition, self-painting and decorative works, sheet metal shop, childcare and elderly care. We want to offer education in the broadest sense of the word. We guide our students to the right choice of study and career. At the same time, we shape them socially, emotionally and personally. Here you will find a colorful mix of personalities. We pay attention to all teenagers, including those who need additional guidance.

The school team dedicates itself daily to action aimed at students so that students can develop their talents to the maximum. Our school is also focused on internationalization and this is the reason why we want to contribute to offering students an internship abroad and thus provide them with a unique experience and further development on a personal, professional and social level. Our school wants to offer students with fewer opportunities the same opportunities as everyone else. Our school started its operation 6 years ago with double courses in the field of electrical installations. We were the first school in our region to be involved in the official dual learning path.
