Secondary Vocational School Pirot was founded in Pirot in 1993 as “Civil Engineering School”. At that time, the opening of this school was the only possible solution for people who were left without a norm, and the interest in certain courses was great. At that time, the school had majors: polymer technician, rubber industry, plastic artist, mason, ceramist, carpenter, hydro technician, wall surface decorator.

In the period of transition and shutdown of many companies, interest in some professions was lost. Adapting to the wishes and needs of the environment, since 2004 the school has been introducing hairdressers and hairdressers for personal services into its educational programs. School years 2007/2008. the environmental protection technician course is also open.

Today, many former students of the school are successful technology engineers, chemists, workers in JSC “Tigar”, laboratories, “Regional Sanitary Landfill”. Students acquire the necessary knowledge in practical classes in institutions with which the school has long-term cooperation. cooperation.

Two generations of students enrolled in the polymer technician course as part of dual education, in the academic year 2020/2021. and 2021/2022. Both the students and the school as an institution, as well as the co-workers at “Tiger”, are satisfied with the cooperation.

Danas su mnogi bivši učenici škole uspješni inženjeri tehnologije, kemičari, radnici u AD „Tigar“, laboratorijima, „Regionalnoj sanitarnoj deponiji“. Učenici stječu potrebna znanja na praktičnoj nastavi u ustanovama s kojima škola ima dugogodišnju suradnju. suradnja.
