European Union documents emphasize the improvement of vocational education and training, especially in the area of work-based learning and the use of digital tools. In accordance with the above, the general goal of the project is to improve the quality of vocational education and training in the partner countries. The specific goal is to improve cooperation between different stakeholders in the vocational education system (vocational schools, employers and students) and improve the pedagogical skills of mentors in trades and companies so that they are more ready to transfer their knowledge and skills to students.
The project partners will organize a series of thematic meetings and seminars where they will gather stakeholders in the system of vocational education and training in their countries in order to improve cooperation and communication among all stakeholders. With the creation of an online platform, a promotional, educational and communication tool will be available to the stakeholders, which will be able to be used by schools, trades and businesses, as well as other stakeholders in the system. Also, students will have an online apprenticeship map and an online portfolio as part of the platform. Likewise, online learning modules will be created for mentors in trades and businesses to help them improve their teaching skills.
Target groups:
Students (current and future), schools (professional teachers, class teachers, pedagogues, psychologists, principal), mentors who carry out apprenticeships in trades and companies, chambers and other institutions with a relevant role in vocational education and training (e.g. ministries, agencies), professional and general public.
Project duration: 33 months (from 1 October 2022 to 30 June 2025)
Total value of financial support: EUR 250,000.00
